Ikki Yoneda (米田 一基, Yoneda Ikki) is General Commander of the Imperial Assault Force. He was also one of the former members of the Anti-Kouma Squad along with Ayame Fujieda, Shinnosuke Yamazaki and Kazuma Shinguji.
Appearance[]
Personality[]
"Drunkyard Hero". Possibly the best description of Yoneda.
Due to his unbelievable love to drink Sake, it's nearly impossible to not see him already drunk. With that he always speak his mind out, being normally aggressively funny, brutally honest and sometimes unfortunately rude. Outside of his drunk moments, he does have a very carefree attitude, which sometimes irritates people like Oogami(At the start of the first game) and Sumire(As she bickers because sometimes Yoneda choices Sakura as the lead actress, much for her chagrin), almost never feeling bad when a stage act get failures, as he simply finds funny or is not bothered at all.
But although his drunkyard funny side, Yoneda does have a monstruous level importance for all the Teikoku Kagekidan members. Being a extremely competent commander and manager. He also hides well behind the drunk moments his deep sadness due not only for the loss of his beloved comrades, but also a guilty feeling of turning girls into soldiers, always saying "that a father would never ever turn his own daughters soldiers, nor sends them into a death battlefield".
Although that guild, he's truly proud of his subordinates, deeply and emotionally attached to them, willing to sacrifice his own life to save them, especially Sakura Shinguji due to the grief moment of her father Kazuma Shinguji sacrificing his own life to seal a powerful demon..
Sakura considers Yoneda as her second father, which raises even more his emotional connection with the theater.
As Sumire announces her retirement, Yoneda simply asks if she does not have any "regrets", wondering if is what she really wants that decision of hers. This also shows how Sumire respects and admires Yoneda as a family friend.
Proud of all of his ex-subordinates, he now passes the torch to Oogami, turning him into the supreme commander and manager of Teikoku Kagekidan. With this set on his mind, he simply wanders now in parks happy and confident that now his beloved family and friends now is on a more experienced and strong hands, ending his own story there.
